A Poultry Processing Plant is seeking a skilled Industrial Plumber to join our Plant Maintenance Team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the facility operates efficiently by installing, maintaining, and repairing steam, water, and wastewater systems within the processing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high-pressure steam lines and valves

• Manage industrial water distribution and treatment systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, pipes, and related equipment

• Conduct pressure and leak testing to ensure system integrity

• Ensure wastewater systems comply with WASA and HACCP standards

• Interpret blueprints and schematics for installations and repairs

• Respond to emergency plumbing issues, including on-call support when required

• Collaborate closely with maintenance and quality assurance teams

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Plumbing from a recognized institution such as YTEPP, MIC, Ministry of Education, or City & Guilds Level 2/3

• 3–5 years industrial plumbing experience, particularly with steam and high-pressure piping systems

• Proficiency in threading, brazing, welding, and using precision tools

• Knowledge of the National Plumbing Code of Trinidad & Tobago and the OSH Act

• Physically capable of working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying temperature conditions

• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory records
