We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Port and Logistics Coordinator to support the execution of all port operations at our facility. The Port and Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a key role within the Operations Department. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day port projects while contributing to business growth through effective project bidding and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily port operations, including vessel berthing, loading/unloading, and turnaround activities. 

Liaise with Ship Agents, Port Authorities, Customs, and Pilots to ensure efficient and compliant port operations. 

Provide logistical support for mobilisation and demobilisation operations at the Port Facility. 

Prepare and submit competitive bids, quotations, and pro forma invoices for port contracts. 

Respond promptly to client queries and liaise with relevant personnel to resolve operational issues. 

Provide monthly reports to Management on vessel activity and bids submitted. 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in port logistics, with a strong understanding of port operations and marine logistics.

Project management experience is a plus.

Experience:

In-depth knowledge of port infrastructure, vessel handling, cargo operations, and marine operations.

Familiarity with international maritime regulations and port security protocols.
