Summary
A confidential energy services client is building a candidate pool for upcoming contingent labour and manpower opportunities across Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and partially Suriname. Successful applicants may be considered for project-based, rotational, contract, temporary, or contingent assignments based on experience, availability, and client requirements.
The Solids Control Specialist will operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain solids control equipment used to separate drilled solids from drilling fluids and support safe, compliant drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate solids control equipment such as shale shakers, centrifuges, pumps, mud tanks, and related systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and separation efficiency.
• Conduct inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Track waste, cuttings, fluid volumes, and equipment performance where required.
• Support rig-up, rig-down, cleaning, and equipment readiness.
• Follow environmental, waste handling, and HSE requirements.
Requirements
• Previous solids control, drilling fluids, rig, mud plant, or oilfield services experience.
• Knowledge of solids control equipment and drilling fluid handling.
• Ability to work offshore, onshore, shifts, and rotational schedules.
• Strong safety and environmental awareness.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Relevant experience and certifications must be clearly stated on the CV or uploaded with the application where available.
Preferred
• Experience with centrifuges, shale shakers, pumps, tanks, and drilling waste processes.
