Summary

A confidential energy services client is building a candidate pool for upcoming contingent labour and manpower opportunities across Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and partially Suriname. Successful applicants may be considered for project-based, rotational, contract, temporary, or contingent assignments based on experience, availability, and client requirements.

 

The Well Control Specialist will support safe well control, pressure control, risk management, and operational readiness for drilling, completion, workover, intervention, or testing activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Support well control planning, monitoring, and execution.

• Assist with wellsite risk assessments, pressure control checks, and contingency planning.

• Monitor pressures, barriers, equipment readiness, and operating conditions.

• Support well control drills, inspections, and operational reviews.

• Ensure compliance with well control procedures, client standards, and HSE requirements.

• Provide technical guidance to field teams where required.

 

Requirements

• Proven experience in drilling, completions, workover, intervention, pressure control, or well control operations.

• Strong understanding of well barriers, pressure control equipment, and HSE requirements.

• Ability to work in high-risk field or offshore environments.

• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

• Valid well control certification may be required depending on assignment.

• Relevant experience and certifications must be clearly stated on the CV or uploaded with the application where available.

 

Preferred

• IWCF or IADC WellSharp certification and experience in offshore or high-pressure operations.
