Contract Terms:
Fixed Term Contract – Twelve (12) Months.
Position Summary:
The IT Technical Lead is accountable for the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the Information and Communication Technology environment. This role provides technical leadership and assurance across all IT systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational, safety, and strategic goals. The position involves hands-on work across IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data management, and cloud technologies.
The incumbent is required to:
- Provide technical assurance for all IT systems, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and services, to ensure reliability, security, and compliance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for key technologies such as ERP systems, server and network architecture, cloud environments, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Design and implement IT solutions aligned with best practices, company standards, and evolving industry requirements.
- Lead the migration and support of on-premise systems to cloud platforms, ensuring secure and scalable operations.
- Oversee performance and availability of critical systems, including databases, network components, virtual infrastructure, and cloud-hosted services.
- Maintain and optimize the Company's hybrid IT infrastructure, including endpoint security, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Support the implementation, configuration, and integration of ERP and CMMS platforms.
- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between enterprise applications and business intelligence tools.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency, system resilience, and digital capabilities.
- Enforce cybersecurity and data privacy policies in line with international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments on IT systems and infrastructure; maintain effective disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Liaise with stakeholders across departments to define IT requirements, resolve system issues, and improve user experience.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to manage SLAs, software licensing, and support contracts.
- Support all other related function as required.
Education & Qualifications:
- BSc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering (Software), or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10 years' IT experience in corporate environments, with at least three (3) years at a senior or a leadership position.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors would be considered an asset.
- Postgraduate qualifications would be considered an asset.
