Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and nurturing Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a busy working family. This role combines administrative support with childcare responsibilities, including school pick-ups, meal preparation, running errands, and providing consistent day-to-day assistance. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, child-friendly, and flexible with a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties (As needed):
  • Safely transport children to and from school and after-school activities.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children (includes basic cooking).
  • Assist with grooming (e.g., combing hair) and ensure children are dressed appropriately.
  • Iron and organize children’s clothing as needed.
  •  Supervise homework and engage in light educational and recreational activities.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Household & Personal Assistant Duties (As needed):
  • Run errands including grocery shopping, paying bills, and collecting items from stores.
  • Organize and manage household schedules and calendars as required.
  • Assist with light household organization and tidying related to children and errands.
  • Act as a supportive, dependable aide to the working Mother/Director in both personal and professional contexts.
  • Handle occasional tasks on behalf of the employer, such as booking appointments or managing deliveries.

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Prior experience in childcare, nannying, or as a personal assistant is highly preferred.
  • Early Childhood Care Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to cook simple, healthy meals.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, respectful demeanor.
  • Comfortable and confident around water; ability to swim is a plus.
  • Flexibility in hours and tasks; a can-do, problem-solving attitude is essential.
  • Background check and references required.
  • First Aid & CPR certification is an assess but is not mandatory
  • Punctual and reliable with a high level of discretion.
  • Warm, engaging, and attentive to children’s needs.
  • Organized and efficient with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing family needs.

Schedule & Availability Requirements:
  • This role requires a high level of flexibility and commitment, including availability for afternoon pick-ups, and occasional night or weekend support.
  • The ideal candidate will have a personal schedule that allows them to be consistently available during these hours without conflicting obligations.
  • We are looking for someone who can fully commit to the demands of this role and maintain reliability and punctuality as a top priority.
