About the role
We are seeking a Qualified Finance Manager experienced in Engineering/ Construction industries, as the role is relative to Contract type Accounting.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager shall include amongst other duties:
- Supervision and management of Accounting staff
- Financial Planning & Strategy making
- Budget Management & Cost Control
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Management
- Project Financing & Investment Decisions
- Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Financial statement preparation
- Tax preparation
- Reviewing financial records to verify accuracy and identify potential issues
Experience and qualifications
- Full ACCA Certification
- Minimum of ten (10) years accounting experience
- Minimum of five (5) years at Supervisory Level
- Knowledge and experience in contract accounting (Engineering/Construction fields) is mandatory
- Accounting Software experience (Quickbooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Strong Inter-personal and communication skills
