Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks and trailers, ensuring the timely transportation and delivery of goods while adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and trailers in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations as scheduled.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
• Comply with all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records as required.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
• Proven experience operating trucks and trailers.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to climb in and out of vehicles and trailers safely.
• Capable of lifting and moving items when required.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  
  

Compensation

• Salary Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
