Kaizen Environmental Services (Trinidad) Limited is seeking to employ a Remediation Services Coordinator for its La Brea operations.  The person will be responsible for driving the optimization of the Bioremediation process at the Waste Treatment Facility, Quality Assurance and Quality Control for the Waste Treatment Facility Operations and contribute to the Company's overall success.

What you will do:

 

Ø  Bioremediation Operations Management - ensure the Biocells are prepared and ready for incoming waste receipt in accordance to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures

Ø  Neutralization Operations - ensuring the Neutralization Pit, Pumps and required resources are prepared and ready prior to waste receipt

Ø  Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – review all SOPs ensuring they are current; all staff are trained on SOPs and document same

Ø  Safety Documents – makes certain all activities at the Waste Treatment Facility have the completed safety documents (Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis and Emergency Response Plan)

Ø  Quality Assurance Administrator for the Waste Treatment Facility

Ø  Review and report on the submission of Operations Reports

Ø  Ensure that all Near Misses/Incidents/Accidents are reported

 

 

Special Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

 

ü  Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

ü  Knowledge and understanding of pumps and pumping operations

ü  Knowledge and understanding of agriculture equipment

ü  Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems

ü  Knowledge and understanding of Accident/Incident Reporting and Investigation

ü  Good organizational and time management skills

ü  Effective presentation skills

ü  Good communication skills

 

 

What you will need:

 

ü  A Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Environment or Natural Sciences

ü  At least 2 years’ experience in the related field

ü  Computer literate and proficient in MS Office suite

ü  Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
