Performs a key component of the corporate governance structures which involves formulating and implementing strategies along with the CEO to ensure greater accountability within the Company. Consolidates existing regulatory and compliance / risk framework, thus allowing for the improvement of the effectiveness of controls. Monitors and/or has oversight of the Company’s regulatory affairs including Company policies.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor of Laws Degree or similar qualifications.
- Possession of or pursuing ACAMS or equivalent will be considered an asset.
- Up to 10 years of experience in the General Insurance Sector or another Financial Services or Regulated Industry in a similar capacity.
- Must be familiar with enterprise risk management and compliance processes, insurance legislation, and operational, financial and quality assurance procedures and regulations.
