The Underwriter I assesses, evaluates, and underwrites risks across various classes of general insurance in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
· General Insurance State Licence and/or Foundation Insurance Test (CII).
· Currently pursuing a CII designation or other relevant general insurance qualification.
· Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in an underwriting environment would be an asset.
· Strong analytical, decision-making, and customer service skills.
· An equivalent combination of qualifications, training, and experience may be considered.
