Job Summary

The Team Lead – Claims is responsible for supervising and coordinating claims operations to ensure that claims, claimants, recoveries, and subrogation matters are managed efficiently, fairly, proactively, and in accordance with applicable legislation, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago guidelines, and the Company’s claims policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

·     Professional qualification in Insurance or Claims, Dip CII, ACII, or an equivalent qualification; candidates currently pursuing such qualifications will also be considered.

·    Strong knowledge of general insurance policies, coverage interpretation, claims assessment, and claims management practices.

·       Sound knowledge of the Insurance Act, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Claims Guidelines, and other relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

·   Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant experience within the insurance industry, preferably in claims management or a related supervisory capacity.

·       An equivalent combination of qualifications, training, and experience may be considered.
